UTZ Certified is working towards making the tea sector sustainable. The UTZ Certified program covers good Farming Practices, Farm Management, Social and Living Conditions, and the Environment, which ensures certified farms create safe and healthy working conditions for workers. And that better farming methods, such as soil management and plucking techniques, are implemented that increase efficiency and prevent the contamination of the local environment.
